By downloading, installing, or using Lighter Mind ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Purpose of the App
Lighter Mind is a self-help tool designed to help users process anxious thoughts through structured cognitive exercises. The App is NOT a medical device, therapeutic tool, or substitute for professional mental health help.
3. Not Medical Advice
The App does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. Exercises in the App are based on general cognitive-behavioral principles and are intended for educational and self-help purposes only. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, immediately contact emergency services or a licensed mental health professional.
4. User Requirements
You must be at least 16 years old to use this App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
5. User Content
All content you create in the App (fears, reflections, coping plans) is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal reflections on any server.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any illegal purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
7. Intellectual Property
All App content, design, and code are the intellectual property of Lighter Mind and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lighter Mind and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is" without any warranties.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
